The Tuckerton Historical Society has been in existence since 1972, serving Little Egg Harbor and Tuckerton by preserving the History of this unique area for future generations. We are always learning new and wonderful things about our world from the past. The Society has always and will continue to preserve as many artifacts and documents which have been placed in its care.

The Giffordtown Schoolhouse 35 Lietz Blvd., in West Tuckerton, Little Egg Harbor and Little Borough Hall 220 So. Green Street in Tuckerton are both buildings that the Society maintains. We invite you to visit the Giffordtown Schoolhouse and the Tuckerton Crik Museums and let history come alive.
If you are looking for information regarding a missing ancestor, or event(s) which happened one or two centuries ago, a trip to the Museum may help you find the answers. Someone is always available and glad to help you.
