March 21, 2020 – [CANCELLED-COVID-19] Barnegat Light Museum curator and author Reilly Sharpe. Sharpe has recently written an Arcadia book on Barnegat Light. The author has extensive knowledge on the fishing village that became a seaside attraction. His power point presentation includes photos that appeared in the book from family collections. April 25, 2020 -[CANCELLED-COVID-19] Local Lenape Legends. Ocean County Cultural and Heritage Commission Director Tim Hart and program director of the Cedar Bridge Tavern Lucas DiMartini will give a talk and power point about the local stories of the Lenape Indians during the Revolutionary War Years and as they were transitioning to Brotherton, a reservation in West Jersey. May 23, 2020 - [CANCELLED-COVID-19] Jetport in the Pines. Ocean County Cultural and Heritage Commission Director Tim Hart has researched the years when a developer hoped to build a jet port in the Pinelands, years before the Pinelands Commission was established to protect it. June 13, 2020 - [CANCELLED-COVID-19] Forgotten Towns of the Pinelands. Chief Park Naturalist German Georgieff of the Ocean County Department of Parks and Recreation will give a slide show and talk about once thriving factory towns: Atsion and Martha iron forge towns, Harrisville, a paper-making town, Herman City and Crowleytown where glass was made and Crossley, a town that grew up mining clay. July 11, 2020 - [CANCELLED-COVID-19] Contentious Elections in American History. History Professor Richard Trimble will give a talk on America's sometimes rocky trip to the election booth. Political fights have been part of the political scene as far back as 1793. He will also explain how the election process has evolved. August 8, 2020 - [CANCELLED-COVID-19] Pinelands 101. Joel Mott, Principal Public Programs Specialist for the New Jersey Pinelands Commission, gives a lively presentation that includes sights and sounds while taking the audience on an insightful virtual walk in the woods familiarizing them with the flora and fauna of the Pinelands. October TBA, 2020 - [CANCELLED-COVID-19] Ghost Walks. For the second time in two years the Tuckerton Historical Society's “Not Ready for Prime Time Players” will give a series of Ghost Walks through town. History has never been so scary.
November 14, 2020 - [CANCELLED-COVID-19] Nikola Tesla and the Tuckerton Wireless. Tuckerton Historical Society President John H. Yates will give an insightful talk on the odd genius who truly invented the wireless technology in the Tuckerton Wireless.
