HINDENBURG MEMORIAL CEREMONY - MAY 6, 2011

Our own Bob Buchanan, who was holding a mooring line as part of the ground crew when the Hindenburg exploded on May 6, 1937, was one of the honorees at the 74th Anniversary of the airship disaster at the Lakehurst Naval Base, Lakehurst, N.J. The ceremony was held on May 6, 2011 at the airbase.
